SITIO

SITIO is a group of experimental music composers-performers based in CABA. The project arises in 2018, from the need to compose and interpret their own music, with an openness towards the field of research, collective practice, experimentation and inquiry into the different potentialities of the format.

In 2019, SITIO produces and presents CAJA UNO, a work that explores the themes of perception, authorship, collective composition and intertextuality, within the concept of total and organic work, with a focus on the multidisciplinary, the eclectic and the dynamic interaction of the capacities of the members. The work has been presented in concerts and festivals during 2019.

Currently, and based on the experience of CAJA UNO, the group is tackling a new artistic project that deepens the concerns and interests previously raised, this time with the publication of a record. It is supported by the Fondo Nacional de las Artes trough their Beca Creación grupal 2021.
